    Strong contenders!

Forget Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan, in the coming weeks and months there is going to be a lot of tussle between the other stars of Bollywood.

Ranbir Kapoor and Akshay Kumar have three big films up for release this year. Making the competition stiffer is Salman Khan who is ready to bounce back with his film Dabangg. We all know that the man can alter the box office equation with a single hit. And waiting to woo the audience as well as critics is Abhishek Bachchan as the devilish Raavan. So a lot is going to happen in B-town this year!

Here are the contenders for the top slot:

This year is surely not going to be dull for Imran Khan. Still waiting for a big hit after Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Imran has Dharma Productions’ I Hate Luv Storys with Sonam Kapoor and Kunal Kohli’s Break Ke Baad with Deepika Padukone. Mamujan’s Delhi Belly can also release this year.

Everyone is going gaga over Junior B’s devilish look and fiery attitude in the yet-to-release Raavan. We know he is all set to prove his mettle again. Abhi is also in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s periodic drama Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.

You liked him in Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?. Ajay Devgan can hit big time with his laugh riot ‘Golmaal 3’ which is releasing in November. But first, you will see him playing Haji Mastan’s character in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai.

With just one film, Salman Khan is expected to break the box office records and repeat the Wanted success with his dumdar ‘Dabangg’. The movie is going to release early September.

He is in international arena with his film Kites. Hrithik Roshan also promises a sterling performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Guzaarish. Add to the list Shekhar Kapur’s futuristic film Paani.

With his Raajneeti slated to hit the theatres soon and Anjaana Anjaani almost complete, don’t we know who is going to stay on our minds? Everything is going Ranbir Kapoor’s way. We wish him all the best for his films Rockstar and ‘Silence’ too.

He can be the king this year as he already has a hit Housefull under his belt. And with other big releases like Action Replayy, Patiala House and Tees Maar Khan waiting to release this year, it seems Akshay will rule the box office.
