England cricket team will have to play without their fast bowler, Stuart Broad, in the second Test against Sri Lanka. He has been left out of the England squad due to his calf strain and will fly home immediately.

He injured his right leg in the first Test which they lost by 75-run in Galle on Thursday. However, it has not been so long time that he has been recovered from an ankle injury. He underwent scan that revealed strain in his right leg.

Now, the question is that who will replace him for the final Test against Sri Lanka. It is heard that either Steven Finn or Tim Bresnan will be named as his replacement. It will be hard to find a suitable replacement.

The injury of Stuart Broad may put extra pressure over other players.

England captain and opener, Andrew Strauss, has been criticized not only for his teamís defeat in the last four Tests but also his performance with the bat.

He could score only one half-century in his last eight innings and since November 2010 he is without a test century. Despite his poor performance, England batting coach, Graham Gooch, kept faith on Strauss about leading the England cricket team.
