This Diwali, SAB draws you into a high-spirited celebration of India’s most cracking (literally) festival! It’s called SAB Ki Diwali, and the show absolutely lives up to its name. All the stars of SAB TV gather together to light up the screen for two whole glimmering hours, luminously bringing alive the same diverse palette of cultures as there are in our country and unifying them effortlessly because, as we know, “Asli mazaa toh SAB ke saath aata hai”.

The event is hosted by the electrifying duo, Sunil Grover and Bharti, who will have the audience in splits with their rollicking wit and unmitigated humour. The evening has SAB TV stars performing everything in entertainment from comedy, skits and face-offs, to no holds barred song and dance.

The event begins with Debina (Chidiya Ghar) in a glowing performance as the Goddess Laxmi. To add to the grandeur, Piyush pays his tribute to Lord Ganesh and performs on Deva Shree Ganesha song. After this divine beginning comes some delightful fun - the entire team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah performs Dance Antakshari based on the theme of Old versus New. Daya (Disha Wakhani) and Jetha (Dilip Joshi) standing up for the good old days, perform to Rangeela Re from the sixties, only to be confronted by Babita’s (Monmoon) foot tapping performance on Hoja Rangeela Re from the nineties! With this sneak peak, you can only imagine what the rest of this event promises! But hey, this isn’t the only face-off of the evening. To up the tempo, there is a riveting man versus woman face-off, in a continuation of the eternal battle of the sexes.

Next-up is the kids’ act, demanding their Diwali crackers from their parents. Tapu, Goli, Bhide, Sonu, Manav, Meher, Baalveer perform to the song ‘Sadda haq’ to claim their rightful due. The Diya Act follows, with the gorgeous Preeti Ameen and the bubbly Jeannie (Giaa Maanek) performing a beautiful dance from Devdas, something we’re sure the audience can’t get enough of. Then comes several hilarious gags performed by Gadha Prasad (Jeetu Shivhare), Gopi(Gopi Bhalla) ,Gulgule (Kiku Sharda) and Mama (that’s bound to have you laughing helplessly till your sides ache). And that’s just some of it. There’s are cultural acts by Daya (Disha Wakhani) and Jetha (Dilip Joshi) on Dholi Taro, a sizzling rendition of Dreamum Wakepum by Babita and Iyer, and a whole array of other surprises for the SAB TV viewers.

Anooj Kapoor, EVP & Business Head, SAB TV said, “In keeping with the brand promise of our channel we thought of a fun filled entertaining event that the entire family can enjoy and cherish on this festive occasion of Diwali. SAB Ki Diwali will showcase the most entertaining, enthralling and eventful performances by popular SAB TV artists that the entire family can watch together and celebrate the festival of lights with joy, togetherness and a smile on their face.”

The sequence will air on 10 November at 8pm.
