It was a ‘splendid’ occasion and a moment to cherish for young lad Mohsin Khan and Miss India 2012 finalist Nikita Dutta, when they shared the stage with none other than the ‘Baadshah’ of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan in the recently held Life OK Screen Awards.

Yes, Mohsin and Nikita as we know, have been roped in to play the leads in Life OK’s next big-ticket show, coming from the stables of Shashi-Sumeet Productions. This drama series will be the Season 2 of the once-popular show, Main Lakshmi Tere Aangann Ki.

With the stage set for the introduction of the new leads on Life OK, SRK took this as an opportunity to talk about the show, its concept and the lead actors. The yet untitled show, as we know will trace the life and journey of a small town girl, Lakshmi (played by Nikita) who would aspire to make it big in the film industry. Mohsin, the male protagonist will play the charming young dude, who would be from a rich family who happen to be top Producers in the film industry.

We hear that SRK got into a candid conversation with the leads, and also sway along with them on the number Chammak Challo.

A source states that it was a big moment for Mohsin and Nikita. And they rehearsed with Shah Rukh for nearly half an hour before they came on stage. The rehearsal actually helped cool the nerves of the youngsters, and they were seen matching SRK step to step for the popular number. The three of them also indulged in some impromptu jokes, casual talk that left some happy memories in the minds of people seeing them.

When contacted, Mohsin Khan, who was recently seen essaying a prominent role in Star Plus’ Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, told us, “Yes, it will always be a moment to cherish. Shah Rukh has been my idol, and to share stage with him on Life OK’s Screen Awards was indeed a pleasing moment.”

Gear up to watch SRK introduce the young blood to the TV buffs.
