Actors usually get frustrated with the mundane characters they have to play for a long time in a TV show. But not for newbie Zuber Kamaal Khan, who is slowly and steadily solidifying his foothold in the industry.

Zuber recently entered the popular youth show Sadda Haq: My Life My Choice on Channel V as Yuvraj Singh Chauhan, the man out on a mission to get his deceased girlfriend’s property. The boy has also started shooting for Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya where he will be seen playing a rock band member with Shabir Ahluwalia.

We decided to speak to this good looking munda and get him talking on his two variably opposite characters.

“Yuvraj is this sophisticated business man who is pitted against Parth (Ankit Gupta) to acquire Arpita’s property. Arpita, who was dating Yuvraj, post her break up with Parth had named her entire will to him and this did not go down well with Yuvraj. Now he has come back to take it all,” informed Zuber.

Furthermore, he will don the character of a guitarist in Kumkum Bhagya. “The show will soon build up the track on the rock band and showcase stories that would be on the lines of the movie Rock On! We will be shooting for some concert and performances sequence and I am really excited about it. Getting to share the stage with Shabir ji is surely an amazing feeling.”

So which character is he enjoying playing more? “As an actor of course Yuvraj’s character is more challenging as I am getting to don a negative character who is not exactly villain but a bit grayish. As for the other one, it is a fun character and I am getting to dress up in cool stylish vests, jackets and bandanas. Both are special and I am enjoying both,” replied the actor.

    Way to go Zuber!
