Bhanu Uday’s strong and charismatic presence as Aryan Khanna in Star One’s popular series Special Squad is talked about even today. The man had been on a hiatus for the past six years in the television circuit, and was seen doing small episodic roles, the recent being the cop’s role in Sony Entertainment Television’s Encounter.

But now, Bhanu will soon be back playing the lead role in a love story, to be produced by DJ’s – A Creative Unit for Sony Pal.

Yes, you heard it right!! DJ’s – A Creative Unit is making two shows, one for Sony TV and another for Sony Pal. While news about Kanwar Dhillon being roped in to play the lead in their Sony TV show Banaras Ka Bunty is out, we now hear that their Sony Pal show which will have the backdrop of a hospital will have Bhanu Uday essaying the lead role.

A source states that the show titled Sister Didi will narrate the tale of a young widow, who would carry forward the dream of her dead husband by showering love and affection to all the patients admitted in her nursing home. This will be when her life will cross with the life of a young and talented doctor from a big town, who would come to make certain administrative changes in her hospital. The man who would be a thorough professional would have different ways to manage affairs in the hospital. The show will later on show a cute love story between the lady and the man.

And to portray the role of a tough professional doctor has been roped in Bhanu Uday. The search for the female lead is still on.

We tried contacting Bhanu, but could not get through to him.

Bhanu recently had the release of his film Machli Jal Ki Rani Hai and awaits the release of his next movie Blemished Light.

We tried calling Producer Deeya Singh, for a confirmation on the same, but did not hear from her.

Get ready for this interesting hospital based tale on Sony Pal.
