Here’s interesting info from Sony TV’s popular show CID (Fireworks Productions).

For one of its upcoming episodes, talented actor Amit Mistry has been roped in. Amit, a popular face in Bollywood, with this project is making a return of sorts on the small screen.

He was last seen in SAB TV’s Tota Weds Maina. In Bollywood front he has acted in movies like Shor in the City, Yamla Pagla Deewana and Ek Chalis Ki Last Local. He gained fame playing Chirag in Star Plus’ Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

While the talented Amit refused to comment on his stint in CID, we asked him as to what was he up to all this while.

Answered Amit, “Well, I have been active doing Hindi, Gujarati and English theatre and also written and directed a short film, Two Cubes Pls on Youtube.”

Talking about a choice between films and television, Amit expressed, “I am more comfortable doing films as I can see my career graph and can carve my characters I essay, unlike television. Having said that, television as a medium is also very versatile and streamlined. It is just that it takes too much of an actor’s time. I really hope television comes up with more varied seasonal shows.”

Now, in tonight’s episode, the show will present a very interesting sequence where the inspectors will get underwater and hunt for the culprits of crime.

The CID team will go deep into sea water looking out for sharks and in the process threatening their lives. The team will be seen investigating a case where two unnatural shark attacks would lead to murders. The first case will be of a man who will be found locked in a steel cage, drowned after being attacked by sharks. The second murder will be of a lifeguard who will be said to have lured into the sea by fake victims. And as soon as he went to save them, he himself lost his life.

The CID team will get intrigued by these sudden deaths which will seem like being engineered. Find out how they solve the case.

Aditya Shrivastav who plays Inspector Abhijeet in the show tells, “This was one of most interesting and challenging stunts that we did in our CID journey. But it was great fun and worthy of all the hard work.”

    Keep watching the show!!!
