    Default Twitter takes a dig at Shahrukh detention drama

    Yesterday, Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan was detained for two hours at New York's White plain airport. He flew in with Nita Ambani in a private plane, to speak at Yale University where he is this year's Chubb Fellow. Mrs Ambani and others with them were cleared by immigration but Mr Khan was not. This is the second time he has been detained at an US airport.

    As the news of King Khan being detained at a New York airport for over two hours by immigration officials, came out SRK started trending on twitter. While some sympathised with the actor, others cracked jokes on the incident. Take a look at some of the tweets.

    @diogeneb: KJo’s next movie (starring SRK, obviously) - Y(eh) A(nokha) L(astname) E(xperience)

    @jayhind: SRK is more pissed-off for the fact that he has no film releasing soon and the publicity he got for detention is going waste.

    @thetanmay : SRK: Don ko pakadna mushkil hi Nahi... | US Security : LOLLLLLLZZZZZ

    @navedjaved: What's a bigger honor SRK? Being a Chubb Fellow or being detained? #SeriousQuestion

    @cheese_charmer: If only SRK was detained for a few more hours Anna Hazare would've started a fast against Homeland Security.

    @CricketSaurabh: SRK detained again in US? Unleash the sequel of My Name is Khan now in revenge.

    @coolfunnytshirt: KJo to #SRK : “Lets cash-in on the detention thing! Should we make ‘Detention Detention Hota Hai’?

    @indiantweeter: SRK was carrying weapons of Mass destruction, DVD’s of and MNIK

    @beeayeanoowhy: US Police takes Bollywood movies too seriously. Ever since SRK has said, “Don ko pakadna mushkil he nahi...” he’s been detained 3-4 times.

    Shahrukh is not the only Indian celebrity to have been questioned in the US - Aamir Khan was strip searched at Chicago in 2002, John Abraham was stopped in New York for having Afghanistan as a country visited on his passport and fair skinned Neil Nitin Mukesh was also stopped in New York because authorities didn't believe he was Indian.
