Actor Salman Khan without worrying about the repercussions of his name being embroiled in another controversy, stepped in to rescue his old film producer friend.

Incidentally, Nazim Rizvi's film Chori Chori Chupke Chuke (2002) had embroiled into several controversies, mainly the allegations of underworld don Chhota Shakeel financing the film, for which Nazim spent a couple of years behind the bars before being acquitted.

Since then it has been a humongous struggle for Rizvi, who churned out some average films for survival.

Latter's only desire was to launch his son Azim and Salman Khan made Rizvi's dream come true by making it to the music launch of Qasam se Qasam se in Mumbai last night.

"Nazim had gone through a lot and wanted to launch his young son and approached Salman to do the needful, which the actor gracefully accepted," said a source known to the filmmaker.

"Salman understands the trouble Rizvi has undergone and thought of lending a helping hand to the producer turned filmmaker. Usually known for being late, Bhai left from the sets of Dabbang 2 early, to make it for the event on time," another source elaborated.
