    Film Cast Plusses Minusses Verdict

    OMG Oh My God!
    Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Mithun Chakraborty, Om Puri, Mahesh Manjrekar, Govind Namdev, Nikhil Ratnaparkhi, Murli Sharma, Poonam Jhawar, Sonakshi Sinha [sp. app.] and Prabhu Dheva [sp. app.] Hi-concept film with a strong message. Plus, top notch performances by Paresh Rawal and Mithun Chakraborty Execution of the film could've been better Showed remarkable growth over the weekend. Though the film started on a slow note, the fantastic word of mouth and excellent reviews helped the film garner momentum on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday witnessed 40% to 50% jump, while Sunday, again, witnessed 40% to 50% jump, which is excellent. Collected approx Rs 18.5 cr nett in its opening weekend. Second half drags. Writing could've been tighter. Slow pacing Fell sharply in Weekend 2. Collected Rs 3.5 cr nett in Weekend 2, taking the 10-day total to Rs 40.6 cr nett.
