2013 is a special year for actor Anupam Kher. His international project Silver Linings Playbook is a top runner at all the major awards, having bagged a few in its kitty.

The film was also nominated for the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Award for best ensemble cast in a movie. Although the award went to Ben Affleck's Argo, Anupam Kher made sure he was there at the awards function held in Los Angeles yesterday (27th January 2013).

With awards, come the big question of dressing right and Anupam Kher chose Indian costume designer Falguni Thakore for the occasion. Speaking about his outfits for all the major events, Anupam says, "My clothes are always made by Falguni Thakore. She made a suit for me. Luckily men don't have to wear gowns. She also made a suit for the New York premiere of Silver Linings Playbook and also an outfit for the Toronto Film Festival. It was a black tie event for SAG. Even if I wanted to wear a churidar or an achkan, I'd rather dress accordingly. Not that it takes away the Indianness from me. My dream is to see my picture in a tuxedo. I will think about Oscars after the SAG Awards".

That apart, the actor will also be seen in Deepa Mehta's adaptation of Midnight's Children which releases on 1st February 2013. His upcoming Bollywood release is Special Chabbis that also stars Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Shergill and Kajal Aggarwal.
