Latest reports from the Box-Office India unveiled that though all the six recent releases, ‘Chalo Dilli’, ‘Shor in the City’, ‘I Am’, ‘Naughty @ 40’, ‘Men Will Be Men’ and ‘Queens! – Destiny of Dance’, tumbled at the box-office, ‘Chalo Dilli’ performed better than ‘Shor in the City’.
Directed by Shashant Shah, Lara Dutta and Vinay Pathak starrer ‘Chalo Dilli’ fared well at the box-office due to its comedy genre, despite poor implementation of the story.

‘Chalo Dilli’ had a total collection of 3.50 crore during the weekend and is expected to garner 5.50 crore in the week.

Besides receiving positive feedback from the critics, Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Shor in the City’, featuring Tusshar Kapoor, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Nikhil Dwivedi, Pitobash Tripathi, Sundeep Kishan, Girija Oak, Preeti Desai, Radhika Apte and Amit Mistry, performed below average at the box-office.

While the weekend collections of ‘Shor in the City’ was 1.75 crore, the film is anticipated to glean 3 crore during the week.

Other releases, including Govinda starrer ‘Naughty @ 40’, Onir’s ‘I Am’, Red Chillies Idiot Box Production’s ‘Men Will Be Men’, David Atkin’s ‘Queens – Destiny of Dance’, went unnoticed at the box-office.

Apart from the six recent releases that failed to rake in profits at the box-office, ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ is expected to accumulate more than 28.50 crore in the second week of its release.
