Success does not come overnight and hard work never goes unnoticed. Hence, when we learnt about Vijay Badlani (Sanskaar- Dharohar Apno Ki, Jodha Akbar and Yeh Hai Aashiqui fame) bagging two shows we weren’t surprised.

Which serials are we talking about?

Well, the actor recently shot for Sahara One’s Kismat Connection (Entertainment Hub) and DD’s Amrita (Produced by – Harry Baweja and Directed by – Karan Razdan).

In the episodic of Kismat Connection, Vijay will essay the role of a frustrated middle class man named Santosh. He will crave for a better lifestyle and in a desperate attempt to achieve the same he’ll push his father emotionally to commit suicide - to get his policy money.

The father will end his life, to give his son and his family (consisting of his son’s wife and daughter) a better life but then that’s not what fate will have to offer them. The family will face a lot of turbulence later.

How this tale would head from here will be something for the viewers to wait and watch.

“This story will see me giving some power-packed emotional performances. I had been sitting at home for two months waiting to get back with something substantial and now I’ve got it. The audiences will definitely connect with the helplessness and anguish of this common man,” said Vijay.

In Amrita, the actor will be seen essaying the role of a navy officer Indrajeet, who will be married to the protagonist Amrita (Swati Rajput).

“Here I essay an out-and-out negative character but he would showcase different shades in front of people around him,” stated the artist.

Lastly he said, “I am here to do some good work and I will be putting my one hundred and one percent in whatever I do.”

Keep up the good work Vijay!
